Good Citizens Training

The Kennel Club Good Citizens Training Programme is one of the largest training programmes for dogs in the UK. It has 4 levels starting with Puppy Foundation (see below) and then progressing to Bronze, Silver and eventually Gold. In recent years we have just held Puppy Foundation however we are now restarting the higher levels which will take place at different points, starting with the Bronze award training.

Bronze Good Citizens Award Training

Bronze training will be commencing in Spring 2026 and will be held at the Capel Community Centre. Dates will be posted as they are finalised.

Courses are £60 and run for 6 weeks.

Puppy Foundation

Puppy socialisation courses are (subject to demand) held throughout the year at The Capel Community Centre. They run on Tuesday evenings from 7pm – 7.45pm immediately preceding the ringcraft sessions.

Courses run in 6 week blocks and attendees are required to book onto the courses in advance.

Dates for upcoming courses will be posted in due course.

Cost for the course is £60 + £7 for single membership £10 for family (if not a member of TWDCS already).
